Two held with 300 kg of marijuana in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Task Force along with the Malakpet police intercepted a vehicle at Moosarambagh and arrested two persons from Maharashtra with 300 kg of marijuana. Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Task Force along with the Malakpet police intercepted a vehicle at Moosarambagh and arrested two persons from Maharashtra with 300 kg of marijuana.
Officials said the suspects were procuring marijuana from Visakhapatnam and transporting it to Ahmed Nagar in Maharashtra. The arrested persons were Vilas Bhausaheb Dhokane (33) and Dhyaneshwar Mohite (26).
City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said the two had procured the marijuana from Narsipatnam to sell to customers in Maharashtra. They were on their way to Maharashtra via the Annavaram –Suryapet road, when they were intercepted.
They were handed over to the Malakpet police for further action.
