Hyderabad: The South Zone Task Force along with the SR Nagar police nabbed two persons selling hashish oil in Hyderabad and Cyberabad on Tuesday. Police seized 25 boxes of hash oil worth Rs 1 lakh from them.

The arrested persons were Mohd Ibrahim Khan alias Aijaz (30), a labourer from Swaraj Nagar in Borabanda and Mohd Khaja Mubeenuddin (22), a student from Yousufguda. One suspect, Mohd Mahabub Ali alias Shooter Aiyaz (32), was absconding.

According to the police, Mahabub Ali and Mohd Ibrahim were involved in cases in Hyderabad and Cyberabad and arrested earlier too. About six months ago, Mubeenuddin met them and got habituated to drugs. The three began procuring hash oil and supplying drugs to customers.

“The three were quite popular among customers and were receiving orders for drugs from many including youngsters and students in particular,” an official said, adding that following a tip-off, the police nabbed them and seized the hash oil from them. They were handed over to the SR Nagar police for further action.
