Hyderabad: Burglars struck twice in an apartment at Alkapuri Colony in Manikonda and decamped with about 50 tolas of gold ornaments, Rs 2 lakh and other valuables from two flats on Saturday. The incident occurred when the residents had locked the houses and gone out. Police said the incident came to light when the families returned. The Narsingi police are investigating. They suspect it to be the work of local burglars. Footage from surveillance cameras in the surroundings is being examined.
