Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police booked three persons on charges of attacking two persons in an inebriated condition at a bar, police said on Wednesday.
The incident occurred when the complainant, Madhusudan Rao from Rahmath Nagar, was returning after a party at a bar in Srinagar Colony along with his friends Bharat and Praveen on Tuesday night. Police said they picked up an argument with one Pavan and his two friends at the bar, allegedly after the latter made derogatory comments. During the argument, Rao and Bharat were beaten up by Pavan and his friends resulting in injuries to them.
The victims approached the police later after taking treatment in the hospital. A case was booked. Efforts are on to arrest the attackers.
