Two interstate drug peddlers arrested in Hyderabad
The Special Operations Team of the Cantonment Zone and Abdullapurmet Police arrested two interstate drug peddlers from Odisha and seized 164.86 kg of marijuana worth over Rs 41 lakh near Nalgonda Dharma Kanta on Sunday night.

Hyderabad: The Special Operations Team (SOT) of the Cantonment Zone, along with Abdullapurmet Police, have arrested two interstate drug peddlers and seized 164.86 kg of marijuana worth Rs 41 lakh on Sunday night.
The suspects, identified as Nabin Sabar (28) and Sudhakar Mandal (27) from Odisha, were caught near Nalgonda Dharma Kanta on the city outskirts while smuggling the contraband into the city in a car.
Police recovered 80 packets of marijuana concealed in the vehicle’s boot, along with two mobile phones. The seized property is valued at over Rs 41 lakh.
The arrested persons and the seized material were handed over to the Abdullapurmet police for further action.
Further investigation is under way to trace other members of the interstate network.
