Two jewellery shop owners die in road accident in Peddapalli

Peddapalli: Two persons died and two others injured in a road accident near Malyalapalli railway over-bridge of Ramagundam mandal on Tuesday early hours.
According to police, the accident occurred when a car in which the victims were traveling overturned and fell in the middle of the divider at around 4.30 am.
Kotha Rambabu and Kotha Srinivas Rao died on the spot. Their assistant Santhosh and car driver Santhosh received serious injuries in the incident.
After coming to know about the incident, police rushed the spot and shifted injured persons to Karimnagar district headquarters hospital.
The deceased, who are running jewellery shop Srinivasa Jewelry in their native Narsaraopet, Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, prepare gold ornaments on the order and deliver them to their customers in different places.
In order to handover ornaments to customers in Mancherial, they started from Narsaraopet on Monday and met with an accident near Malyalapalli. After delivering ornaments in Mancherial, they planned to go to Bellampalli, Nirmal, Nizamabad and Basara.
Police recovered about one kilogram of gold ornaments from the spot.
Ramagundam CI Karunakar Rao, SI Shailaja visited the accident spot. Police started investigation by registering the case.
