Hyderabad: Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the city on Saturday night. A 27-year-old man Anudeep, a resident of Asbestos colony in Jagathgirigutta, died after his motorcycle crashed into a road divider.
According to the police, Anudeep was returning home on motorcycle after attending a birthday party at his friend’s place in Secunderabad.
“Around 2 am, while crossing the Balanagar road, a buffalo came in front of Anudeep’s bike. In a bid to avoid hitting the animal, he lost control over the vehicle and rammed the road divider,” said Balanagar police. Anudeep sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
In another incident, Pavan Kumar (50) of Banjara Hills died after an unknown vehicle hit his bicycle at Langer Houz. Pavan Kumar was going on his bicycle when an unknown vehicle hit him near PVNR expressway pillar no 75. He sustained injuries and died on the spot.
A case is registered by the Langer Houz police and investigation is on.
