Two killed in separate accidents in Karimnagar, Sircilla

In Karimnagar, one person died and another was injured on the Karimnagar-Warangal national highway in the outskirts of Madatipalli of Huzurabad when a speeding lorry crashed into a roadside tree. Both the lorry driver and cleaner got stuck in the cabin.

Karimnagar: Two persons were killed and one person injured in separate accidents in Karimnagar and Rajanna-Sircilla districts on Wednesday.

In Karimnagar, one person died and another was injured on the Karimnagar-Warangal national highway in the outskirts of Madatipalli of Huzurabad when a speeding lorry crashed into a roadside tree. Both the lorry driver and cleaner got stuck in the cabin.

Police and fire service officials rushed to the spot and rescued them from the mangled cabin. However, the cleaner died by then. The driver was shifted to the Huzurabad area hospital. Their identities are being verified.

In another incident, a youngster Teja died near Mandepalli of Thangallapalli when the two-wheeler he was riding skidded at a curve. He died on the spot.

Police have registered cases and are investigating.
