Hyderabad: Two persons died and another was injured in a firecracker blast at the Kandikal Gate area in Chatrinaka late on Thursday night.
The victims, who were natives of West Bengal, were working at an idol making shed.
Police said the incident occurred when the trio tried to light a dump of crackers, which they had reportedly buried in the ground.
The Chatrinaka police are investigating.
