Two killed, three injured as speeding car hits auto on Rajiv Rahadari in Siddipet
Two persons, including a pedestrian and an auto passenger, were killed and three others injured when a speeding car rammed into a stationary auto‑rickshaw on Rajiv Rahadari near Gouraram village in Siddipet district on Tuesday.
Siddipet: A speeding car rammed into a stationary auto rickshaw, which in turn dashed against a pedestrian leading to two deaths and injuries to three persons on Rajiv Rahadari near Gouraram village on Tuesday.
Police said the car driver Katkri Ashok, who was proceeding towards Siddipet side, lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the auto rickshaw, which in turn hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian Kaithi Sathaiah (42) and a passenger sitting in the auto Korimi Lakshmi (45) died on the spot.
The auto driver, his daughter and three passengers travelling in the car sustained injuries. The police have registered a case.
