A 65-year-old pedestrian, P Lakhupathi, died after a speeding oil tanker hit him while he was crossing the road at Mandamallamma crossroads in Meerpet on Sunday. Police shifted the body for post-mortem and registered a case against the tanker driver.
A 30-year-old man of Lambadithanda village in Bellampalli mandal, died after being run over by a car at Hajipur mandal centre. He sustained serious injuries on Saturday and succumbed later that night at a hospital in Mancherial.
A 21-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a speeding motorcycle while crossing the road in Saroornagar, Hyderabad. The police have registered a case and detained the rider.
The victim identified as K Srinivas (30), a native of Andhra Pradesh who had come to the city for work, was crossing the road when the mishap occurred.
