Two killed, truck driver injured in Mulugu road accident
Two bike riders were killed after a speeding truck hit their two-wheeler on National Highway 163 near Machapur village in Mulugu district. The truck later crashed into a tree, leaving the driver injured. Police are investigating the accident.

Mulugu: Two bike riders were killed and a truck driver was injured in a road accident on National Highway 163 near Machapur village in Govindaraopet mandal of the district on Friday.
According to police, a speeding truck hit a two-wheeler from behind, killing Arrem Bikshapathi (48) and Eeka Chinnappaiah (50), both residents of Karlapalli village in the mandal, on the spot. The truck driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree in a farm field by the roadside.
The police had a tough time rescuing the driver, who was trapped inside the mangled vehicle. He was later shifted to a hospital for treatment.
