After the ministers concluded their speeches and stepped down from the dais, two local leaders entered into an argument over the reported distribution of Indiramma house pattas. As the argument escalated, they came to blows.

Police personnel deployed at the meeting swung into action and brought the situation under control by escorting one of the leaders away from the spot.

Hailing from the same division, the two leaders share an old rivalry, which was once again exposed during the meeting.
