Kothagudem: Two persons were killed in lightning strike in Srinagar Colony of Dummugudem mandal of Kothagudem district on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Chatla Veeraraju (65) and Bhaskar Rao (70). They were struck by lightning while they were working in an agriculture field.


In another incident, around 30 sheep were killed by lightning while they were grazing in a mango orchard at Nakiripet village of Burgampahad mandal in the district, police said.
