Two died of electrocution in separate incidents in Khammam and Mulugu districts. A truck driver was electrocuted after an earth mover touched overhead power lines, while a paralysed man died after accidentally coming into contact with an immersion water heater

Khammam/Mulugu: Two persons were electrocuted in separate incidents in Khammam and Mulugu districts on Monday.
In an incident at Cherukupalli of Sathupalli mandal in Khammam, a truck driver, Reddypogu Venkateshwara Rao (40) of Pentlam village in Annapureddypalle mandal of Kothagudem district, was electrocuted while he was driving the truck.
An earthmover which the truck was carrying came in contact with live overhead electric lines. Following this, the driver suffered electric shock and died in the truck cabin.
In another incident at Keshapur village of Venkatapur mandal in Mulugu, Mekala Ravinder (50), a paralysed man, died of electric shock at his residence. He had reportedly placed an immersion water heater to heat a bucket of water for bath.
He accidentally fell on the bucket while removing the water heater from the power socket, suffered electric shock and died on the spot.
