Two persons electrocuted in separate incidents in Khammam, Mulugu
A truck driver of Pentlam village in Annapureddypalle mandal in Kothagudem district died of electrocution while driving the vehicle and in another incident at Keshapur village of Mulugu district, a paralysed man came in contact with immersion water heater and died on the spot

Khammam/Mulugu: Two persons were electrocuted in separate incidents in Khammam and Mulugu districts on Monday.
In an incident at Cherukupalli in Sathupalli mandal in Khammam, a truck driver, Reddypogu Venkateshwara Rao (40) of Pentlam village in Annapureddypalle mandal in Kothagudem district, was electrocuted while he was driving the truck.
An earth mover which the truck was carrying came in contact with live overhead electricity distribution lines accidentally; as a result, the driver suffered an electric shock and died in the truck cabin.
In another incident at Keshapur village of Venkatapur mandal in Mulugu, a paralysed man, Mekala Ravinder (50), died of electric shock at his residence. It was said that the deceased had placed an immersion water heater to heat a bucket of water to get bath.
He accidentally fell on the bucket while removing the water heater from the power socket; he suffered electric shock and died on the spot.
