Two Sangareddy residents die as Karnataka bus hit bike on KA-TG border

Sangareddy: Two Sangareddy residents died in a road accident after a reckless Karnataka RTC bus driver hit an oncoming two-wheeler on the Telangana-Karnataka border on the outskirts of Shamshalpur on Tuesday.
The motorcyclists, Narsimhulu (48) and his nephew Arun Kumar (22) of Bandla Mirzapur, were heading to Bidar to attend the wedding of close relatives. The bus, which was bound for Hyderabad, hit them and later plunged into a roadside gorge on the Bidar-Zaheerabad road.
The duo died on the spot, while 15 passengers, including driver Srimanth and conductor Ravi, sustained serious injuries. Some of them were rushed to the government hospital in Zaheerabad, while the remaining were shifted to the government hospital in Bidar.
The Bidar Market police registered a case.
