Hyderabad: Two separate bus accidents at Dilsukhnagar and Punjagutta triggered panic on the city’s busy roads on Friday.

The incidents once again raised concerns  among commuters and general public over road safety and reckless driving in the city.

At Dilsukhnagar, a private bus reportedly rammed into a traffic booth, while in Punjagutta an APSRTC bus is said to have crashed into a vehicle that was moving ahead on the main road.

While no casualties or injuries were reported,  the incidents,  however, ended-up creating traffic disruptions in both the thickly populated areas.

Officials are yet to clarify whether overspeeding, driver fatigue, or negligence led to the mishaps.

The latest incidents come close on the heels of recent road accidents reported in Hayathnagar and LB Nagar over the past two days, raising concern over the increasing number of such crashes on city roads.
