Two teenagers drown in quarry pit in Medak district

Two teenagers from Masaipet drowned in a quarry pit at Hakeempet village in Medak district on Friday after venturing into deep water while swimming with friends. Their bodies were later retrieved and shifted to the Government Hospital in Medak for postmortem examination.

Medak: Two teenagers met with a water grave at Hakeempet village in Masaipet mandal in a quarry pit on Friday. They were Jala Nanda Kishore (15) and Nagolla Bhanu (15), residents of Masaipet.

The duo along with their friends ventured into the water body for swimming. They swam deep into water and drowned. The bodies were retrieved from the water body. The bodies were sent to the government hospital in Medak for postmortem.
