Two women dead in separate incidents in Medak

A woman who was running a tea stall in Medak town, found murdered under suspicious circumstances and another woman was found dead on the railway track at Brahmana Palli Railway Station near Toopran

Medak: A 50-year-old woman, who was running a tea stall in Medak town, was found murdered under suspicious circumstances in Medak town on Wednesday. The police, who sent the body for postmortem, are also probing whether she was sexually assaulted before the killing, and are waiting for the postmortem report.

The woman, a native of Papannapet Mandal, was running a tea stall at Ramdas Junction in Medak town to earn a livelihood and was staying in a rented house in Brahmana Street.

Meanwhile, another woman was found dead on the railway track at Brahmana Palli Railway Station near Toopran in Medak district late on Tuesday night. Since police found no material to establish the identity of the woman, her photograph has been circulated across the State to trace her identity.

The investigation is on.
