Two workers crushed to death under loaded trolley in Petbasheerabad

Hyderabad: Two construction workers died after a trolley loaded with iron rods and construction material overturned at a construction site in Petbasheerabad here on Tuesday afternoon.

Sources said the mishap occurred when the foundation laying work was being taken up for an apartment. The trolley driver, who reportedly attempted to get down a slope to unload the construction material, lost control of the vehicle, which went out of control and down the slope. It overturned at the end of the slope, crushing under it the two workers who were in a pit being laid for pillars at the site.

The Petbasheerabad police are investigating.
