Two youngsters electrocuted in separate incidents in erstwhile Warangal
Velpula Mahesh (25), son of Mondaiah Yadav, of Damera mandal centre, died of electrocution at his house while his father suffered injuries in the incident
Warangal Rural/Mahabubabad: Two youngsters died of electrocution in separate incidents in erstwhile Warangal district on Thursday.
Velpula Mahesh (25), son of Mondaiah Yadav, of Damera mandal centre in Warangal district, died of electrocution at his house while his father suffered injuries in the incident. According to sources, Mahesh came in contact with a GI wire that was touching a live wire at his house, and died on the spot. His father, who suffered injuries while trying to save him, was shifted to MGM Hospital for treatment.
In the second incident, Aluvala Vijayender (35), a junior lineman with the NPDCL, of Talla Ukal village died of electric shock at Kalavapally village in Danthalapally mandal of Mahabubabad district.
Vijayender was carrying out repair works on a feeder when magnetic induction of power from another line resulted in his death under Kalavapally GP limits. Vijayender is survived by wife and a daughter.
