Two youths killed in motorcycle–truck collision in Ranga Reddy
Two young men were killed and another critically injured after a speeding container lorry rammed their motorcycle at Shabad in Ranga Reddy district on Monday. Police have registered a case and are investigating whether overspeeding caused the fatal accident.
Hyderabad: Two youths died, and another was seriously injured in a motorcycle-truck collision at Shabad on the city outskirts in Ranga Reddy district on Monday.
The mishap occurred at Nagaraguda X roads in Shabad mandal when a speeding container lorry rammed into a motorcycle.
Due to the impact, Ajay (19) and Uday Kiran (20), both residents of Haitabad village, who were on the motorcycle, suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot. Another youth, identified as Azam, who was travelling with them, suffered serious injuries.
Local residents rushed him to a nearby private hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. His condition is reported to be critical.
The Shabad Police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation. Officials are examining whether speeding or negligent driving led to the fatal crash.
