Eight people were killed and five seriously injured when a speeding truck collided with an auto-rickshaw carrying devotees from Malama village to Fatuha in Patna district, Bihar. The driver fled; police are tracing him through CCTV footage.
A major pile-up on NH-44 near Chandrayanpalli village in Nizamabad district left over a dozen people injured. Two trucks and three cars were involved in the crash. Miraculously, all passengers, including a motorcyclist, sustained only minor injuries.
According to reports, following a collision between two laden trucks, beer bottles and onions scattered across the highway road, causing inconvenience to motorists and resulting in traffic jam.
