Uber plans expansion in Hyderabad, explores corporate office in Future City
Uber is planning to expand its Hyderabad Centre of Excellence and is exploring a corporate office in Bharat Future City following a meeting between CEO Dara Khosrowshahi and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who also proposed multi-level parking projects with EV charging facilities

Hyderabad: Ride-hailing major Uber is set to expand its Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad and is exploring plans to establish a corporate office in the proposed Bharat Future City. The plans emerged following a meeting between Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
During the meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence in Jubilee Hills, the Uber delegation led by Dara Khosrowshahi explained the company’s operations in Telangana to the Chief Minister. Dara Khosrowshahi also shared expansion plans for Uber’s Hyderabad Centre of Excellence.
On the occasion, Revanth Reddy invited Uber to explore Bharat Future City for the expansion of its operations and explained that the government was inviting 500 global companies to establish operations in Future City.
The Chief Minister urged Uber to explore the development of multi-level parking facilities to address growing parking challenges in major cities. He pointed out the shortage of parking infrastructure near Metro stations in Hyderabad and suggested integrating such facilities with EV charging stations. The Uber delegation agreed to examine the proposal.
Uber Chief Business Officer Madhu Kannan, Uber India and South Asia President Prabhjeet Singh, and CTO Praveen Nippalli Naga were present at the meeting, along with senior government officials.
