UGC announces NET June 2025 exam dates
The NET exam is conducted for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor & Admission to PG, and for Only PG Admissions to 85 subjects

Hyderabad: The University Grants Commission (UGC) on Friday released the detailed examination schedule of the National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2025.
According to its official website, the test will commence from June 25 and end on June 29.
The NET exam is conducted for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor & Admission to PG, and for Only PG Admissions to 85 subjects.
The National Testing Authority (NTA), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, issued the notification for the exam dates on https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/.
The test will consist of two papers, which will be in computer-based mode.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts— 10 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm.
On June 25, the exam will be held for 21 subjects, including Public Administration, Mass Communication & Journalism and Philosophy.
On June 26, it will cover 19 subjects, including Political Science, Computer Science & Applications, and Archeology
On June 27, it will be for 16 subjects — English, Commerce, Anthropology, etc
On June 28, 15 subjects, including Telugu, History and Psychology, will be covered
And on June 29, the exam will be conducted for 13 subjects – Hindi, French, German, Geography, etc
Hall tickets will be released on the official website 10 days before the examination.
