UN says 3 peacekeepers have been killed in Lebanon in 24 hours

United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon said three peacekeepers were killed within 24 hours in southern Lebanon amid escalating clashes between Hezbollah and Israel

Dubai: The United Nations peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon says three peacekeepers have been killed in less than 24 hours.

Israel is battling the Iran-backed Hezbollah militant group in southern Lebanon. The peacekeeping mission known as UNIFIL did not say who was responsible for the deaths overnight and into Monday.
