Rajanna-Sircilla: Unable to clear debts, a farmer Thipparaveni Srinivas (40) died by suicide in Nakkapeta of Illanthakunta mandal on Saturday.
The tenant farmer, Srinivas, used to sow crops by hiring two acres of land besides his own 20 guntas. Besides agriculture, he used to run a chicken centre and work in a marriage band service.
Despite his hard work, he could not clear his debts, following which he consumed pesticide and ended his life, said his relatives. He was survived by his wife Devalakshi and two children.
