Hyderabad: A young man died, allegedly by suicide, after not being able to find a job in Kukatpally here, on Tuesday night.

According to the police, the victim, G Harish (26), a BTech graduate from Bhagya Nagar Colony had been trying over a year to secure a job based on his education and skills, but in vain.

“He was requesting his friends to find a job for him. During this, he also took up various jobs which had nothing much to do with what he learned. He was depressed over this and could have ended his life,” police said, adding that he was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his bedroom.

The Kukatpally police said no suicide note was found. The body was handed over to the family after autopsy at the Osmania General Hospital morgue on Wednesday.
