Hyderabad: Demanding an investigation into the regularisation process of contract junior lecturers, degree lecturers and polytechnic lecturers in 2023, unemployed youth organised a rally on the Osmania University campus here on Tuesday.
The protesters demanded that the entire regularisation process, which they alleged was causing injustice to unemployed youth, be cancelled. They also sought the release of police recruitment notifications for 20,000 posts and the immediate issuance of the DSC notification. Furthermore, they called upon the government to honour its election promise by issuing notifications to fill two lakh posts.
OU JAC and Telangana Unemployed JAC state leaders — George Reddy PDSU Telangana State President Dr S Nageshwar Rao, N Sumanth and K Swathi — warned that if the government fails to take decisions in favour of unemployed youth and does not cancel the 2023 contract regularisation process, it will face the wrath of the unemployed in the upcoming elections.
