Unidentified man found partially burnt near Goshala in Kavadiguda

An unidentified man's partially burnt body was found in a garbage dump near a goshala in Kavadiguda, Hyderabad. Police and fire officials reached the spot after residents alerted them. Investigators are examining CCTV footage and probing possible murder and suicide angles.

Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed in Kavadiguda on Thursday after the body of an unidentified man was found partially burnt in a garbage dump near the Goshala.

According to police, local residents noticed the body engulfed in flames in the morning and alerted the Fire Department and Domalguda police. Firefighters rushed to the spot and extinguished the flames, while police secured the area.

Doctors who examined the victim confirmed that he had already died. The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy.

Police said no identity cards or other documents were found at the crime spot to establish the victim’s identity. They are probing all possible angles, including murder and suicide, and are examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area to trace the sequence of events.

The case is under investigation.
