Union minister visits Jewellery shop, enquires about incident

Karimnagar: Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar visited the PMJ jewellery shop in Jyothinagar here, where a burglary took place in the morning.
The Union Minister, along with Mayor Kolagani Srinivas, visited the shop, enquired about the incident and interacted with the staff besides examining CCTV footage. He also spoke to the Commissioner of Police and local police officials.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that dacoits entered the shop posing as customers, opened fire at the staff and fled with jewellery. Stating that it was an unexpected incident, he hailed the jewellery shop staff for trying to prevent the dacoits.
Police were searching every nook and corner of the town and the dacoits would definitely be caught, he expressed confidence.
