University of Hyderabad launches two online certificate courses
The University of Hyderabad has launched two online certificate courses through its Centre for Digital Learning, Training & Resources and announced plans to introduce more undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. A new video recording studio was also inaugurated to strengthen digital learning initiatives.

Hyderabad: The Centre for Digital Learning, Training & Resources (CDLTR), University of Hyderabad (UoH), launched two online certificate Courses: “Samsadhani Praveshikka: Learning Sanskrit Using Computational Tools” and “Advanced Malariology: Biology of Parasitism and Drug Resistance”.
CDLTR director Prof Salman Abdul Moiz said the launch of the two courses marked the beginning of the launch of other courses that would be offered by experts. “We will soon be launching online programmes at both the UG and PG levels,” he said.
UoH Prof Vasuki Belavadi briefed about SwayamPrabha—a bouquet of 40 DTH educational channels launched by the Ministry of Education and urged faculty members to launch their courses on the platform. The SwayamPrabha courses are also available on YouTube for free.
UoH Vice Chancellor in-charge Prof Anuradha also launched an additional video recording studio at CDLTR. “The university will soon conduct faculty development programmes to enable all its faculty members to launch online courses”, she added.
