UoH faculty nominated to Hindi Advisory Committee

The Hindi Advisory Committees are appointed in various ministries to advise on the proper implementation of Official Language Policy of Government of India

Hyderabad: Prof. RS Sarraju, Department of Hindi, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad (UoH), has been nominated to the Hindi Advisory Committee of Ministry of Commerce and Industry by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

Minister of State Ajay Kumar Mishra has approved Prof. Sarraju’s nomination as ex-officio member in the committee, the UoH said on Saturday. The Hindi Advisory Committees are appointed in various ministries to advise on the proper implementation of Official Language Policy of Government of India, it said.

Prof. Sarraju works in the area of Functional Hindi and Translation studies, Comparative Indian Literature, and Sociology of Literature, the press release added.
