UoH Professor made advisory panel member of CBFC

Her appointment was issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for a period of two years.

Hyderabad: Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has appointed Prof S Saratjyothsna Rani, Professor in the Department of Telugu and the Dean, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad (UoH), as the advisory panel member of the Hyderabad Region. Her appointment was issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for a period of two years.

Having 34 years of teaching experience, Prof Saratjyothsna has guided 32 PhD students and 50 MPhil students so far and has attended more than 200 national and international conferences and seminars.

She has received several awards, including Sahiti Yuvaratna, Visesha Puraskaram, Telugu University, Jashua Puraskaram, Kavi Ratna – Neela Jangaiah Sahiti Award and Amrutha Latha Literary Award.
