Hyderabad: Rajasekharam Mallipudi, a research scholar in Translation Studies in the Centre for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies (CALTS), School of Humanities at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected for the 12th session of the Institute of World Literature-2022 (IWL) of the Department of Comparative Literature, Harvard University.
The 12th Institute of World Literature session will take place from July 4 to July 28 at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
Apart from attending seminars, lectures, and panels, Rajasekharam will present a paper on ‘The Realism of S. Natarajan’ in one of the IWL colloquia. He has recently submitted his PhD thesis on ‘Novel, Progressive Writers’ Movement, and the Telugu Public Sphere: The Literary Journey of S. Natarajan’ under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Shivarama Padikkal. He received the Charles Wallace India Research Grant in 2017.
