Uppal bus stop shifted to Nalla Cheruvu Katta amid corridor works
The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation has shifted the Uppal Junction bus stop to Nalla Cheruvu Katta due to ongoing elevated corridor construction. Passengers heading to Warangal, Hanumakonda, and Yadagirigutta must now board buses from the temporary stop.

Hyderabad: The bus stop at Uppal Junction for services to Warangal, Hanumakonda and Yadagirigutta has temporarily been shifted to near Nalla Cheruvu Katta by the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) for the elevated corridor construction works.
Radhika Gupta, Zonal Commissioner of Uppal Zone, said the bus stop was earlier located beside the Uppal Zonal office and has been moved temporarily to near Nalla Cheruvu Katta.
As a result, passengers travelling towards Warangal, Hanumakonda, and Yadagirigutta have to board their respective buses from the temporary bus stop set up to Nalla Cheruvu Katta.
She also said that this change of bus stop came into force from Sunday and the road on the Uppal Ring Road leading towards Warangal would be temporarily closed. She said traffic diversions were possible and advised vehicle users and passengers to plan travel using alternative routes in advance.
MMC officials urged commuters to cooperate with the police department and relevant authorities to regulate traffic for public convenience and management.
