Hyderabad: Union Public Service Commission exam toppers from the State – P Srija (Rank 20), K.Rahul (Rank 218) and P. Gauthami (Rank 318), were felicitated by Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat here on Tuesday. All the three were mentored by Bhagwat and team for personality test and are residents of Rachakonda police limits.
Speaking at the felicitation, Bhagwat expressed satisfaction over this year results in which 135 candidates mentored by him and his team, got selected. Of them, 20 candidates are in the top 100 rank. He further advised candidates to work with devotion for good governance.
The selected candidates, while acknowledging hte services of the Commissioner, expressed gratitude to him and other mentors. They were accompanied by their parents.
Srija, who is a science graduate, has achieved the top rank, in very first attempt, while Rahul, a mechanical engineering graduate cracked the exam in the second attempt, Gauthami succeded in the first attempt.
Since 2014, Bhagwat along with other like-minded mentors, has helped more than 1,000 successful candidates.
