Hyderabad: A 22-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a multistoried building at Madhapur on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as B Shivamani, working as a caretaker in an apartment. Love failure is suspected to be the reason behind her extreme step.

According to the police, she went to the tenth floor of the apartment and jumped from there.

She fell on the ground and died on the spot. Hearing a loud thud, apartment security guard and residents rushed out and found her lying dead in a pool of blood.

On receiving information, the Madhapur police reached the spot and took up investigation.

Based on a complaint from Shivamani’s father Keshavulu, a case was registered.
