Urea shortage continues in Telangana, farmers face hardships standing in long queues in Sircilla
Fertiliser supply delays in Telangana continued on Friday, with farmers queuing at PACS godowns to procure urea. Farmers warned that inadequate supply could harm paddy yields and urged the government to take immediate steps to ensure timely distribution.

Rajanna Sircilla: The inordinate delay in supply of fertiliser leading a possible agrarian crisis in the State continued on Friday also with farmers standing in serpentine lines to procure urea. One such instance was reported from Kothapalli Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society of Gambhiraopet mandal on Friday.
In the wake of the shortage of fertilizer, farmers rushed to the PACS godown early in the morning and stood in queues even before opening of godown.
Farmers said that they were facing severe hardships due to lack of adequate supply of urea. It was not possible to get good yield if the paddy was not supplied urea at an appropriate time.
So, the government should take initiatives to supply urea to farmers, they said.
