US-based Sykes opens fourth centre in Hyderabad
This expansion adds another 500 seats to its existing team of 2,000 employees, accommodating its rapidly growing workforce in the country.
Hyderabad: US-based digital marketing and customer service outsourcer Sykes opened its fourth centre in Hyderabad. Located at Laxmi Infobahn (LIB) in Kokapet area, the workspace of close to 44,000 sq ft will be their sixth site in the country and the second space they have opened in the last one year.
This expansion adds another 500 seats to its existing team of 2,000 employees, accommodating its rapidly growing workforce in the country.
Sykes creates intelligent customer experiences and serves clients and brands for varied industries, including banking, communication, technology, telecom, retail, and small & medium businesses through multiple channels.
Announcing the launch of the fourth centre in Hyderabad, Sykes India’s country head, Dishant Bhojwani, said, “Amidst the pandemic, Sykes India has experienced rapid growth based on servicing strategic clients who have played important roles in supporting customers during the global lockdown. Their explosive customer growth has fuelled our business, which has required Sykes’ continued expansion in the country to keep pace with demand.”
“We have a strong focus in India and despite the challenges of operating during the pandemic, we still managed to nearly double our employee count from 2019. And yet, we believe that we are still early in our growth journey. We are committed to supporting the community by providing opportunities for top talent and giving them the chance to work with world-class teams all over the globe,” added Bhojwani.
The latest centre at Laxmi Infobahn has received its LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, an internationally recognised green building certification system.
