Warangal: Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar has called on the party activists to check the false propaganda unleashed by the Opposition parties against the TRS government using social media. He also suggested that they help people protect themselves from Covid-19 during the ongoing third wave.
Addressing a party meeting of Warangal West Assembly constituency here on Sunday, Vinay Bhaskar appealed to the party rank and file to make aware the people about the welfare schemes and developmental works being implemented by the TRS government under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
“You need to use the social media actively and inform the people about the schemes being implemented by the TRS government, and educate them on the fruits of these schemes. If corporators and divisional level leaders bring the issues of your division to my notice, I will try to resolve them by bringing funds from the government,” he said, adding that foundation stone laying functions for development works in the constituency would be done in strict accordance with Covid-19 protocol.
Referring to financial assistance to the patients and others under Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF), the Government Chief Whip said that Warangal West constituency was in the second position in terms of the amount sanctioned to the victims under the CMRF in the State. “We are handing over the cheques under the CMRF by visiting each house of the beneficiaries in the constituency,” he added.
Vinay Bhaskar said the Opposition parties had been making unnecessary hue and cry over the 317 GO. Coming down heavily on the BJP, the legislator said BJP leaders including union Minister Kishan Reddy had done nothing for the development of Warangal. “ Though Kishan Reddy visited Warangal several times in the capacity of union Tourism Minister, he has not allotted any funds for the tourism development despite the district has huge a tourism potential. The BJP has also failed to bring coach factory in Kazipet,” he said and asked the party workers to use social media counter the false campaign by the BJP and other Opposition parties.
