Adilabad: MLA Jogu Ramanna advised the members of self-help groups (SHGs) to utilise schemes of the government and achieve financial growth. He handed over cheques to 146 beneficiaries of the self-employment scheme at a programme held here on Tuesday.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Ramanna said that eligible beneficiaries were being identified by conducting meetings in villages and towns. He requested them to utilise the schemes and achieve financial empowerment. He stated that the government was implementing a slew of schemes helping financially weak families.
The MLA said that irrigation facility and crop input support were being extended to the beneficiaries. He stated that 146 street vendors were given loans worth Rs 1.89 crore under various schemes. Municipal Vice-Chairperson Zaheer Ramjani, Jainath MPP Govardhan, SC Corporation Executive Director Shankar, SC Welfare Officer Suneetha and many others were present.
