Valluvarnagar secured a place in the Bolarum Challenge Cup football tournament final after defeating Hyderabad Globe 5-4 in a sudden death shootout following a goalless draw. Yousha of VV Nagar was named the Best Player of the match

Hyderabad: Valluvarnagar entered the final with a 5-4 win via sudden death against Hyderabad Globe in the Bolarum Challenge Cup football tournament, organised by Bolarum Sporting Club, at Bolarum here on Friday.

The teams were locked in a goalless draw at full time.

In the sudden death shootout, Camey, Saif, Rishi, Arnold and Tajamul scored for the winners, while Imtiyaz, Sunil, Anas and Rasiq were on target for the losers.

Yousha of VV Nagar was named the ‘Best Player’ of the match.
