Valluvar Nagar FC and Hyderabad Globe reach Bolarum Challenge Cup semifinals

Valluvar Nagar FC and Hyderabad Globe advanced to the semifinals of the Bolarum Challenge Cup football tournament. Valluvar Nagar won a penalty shoot-out after a 2-2 draw, while Hyderabad Globe recorded a convincing 4-0 victory over Hyderabad Sporting

Hyderabad: Valluvar Nagar FC and Hyderabad Globe entered the semifinals of the Bolarum Challenge Cup football tournament, organised by Bolarum Sporting Club, at Bolarum here on Wednesday.

In the quarterfinal, Valluvar Nagar FC secured a 7-5 win in the penalty shoot-out after the teams were locked 2-2 at full-time.

For the winners, Sadmul, Saif, Yousha, Mahaveer, Camey, Sikender and Arnold scored, while for the losers, Adrian (2), Yash, Limbu and Sami were on target.

In the second quarterfinal, Hyderabad Globe scored a 4-0 win against Hyderabad Sporting, with Zoyab (2), Sadan and Syed Zaiuddin being the scorers.

The semifinal line-up features AGORC, Gymkhana FC, Valluvar Nagar FC and Hyderabad Globe.
