Vanisha Rao wins gold at National Powerlifting Championship

Surineni Vanisha Rao of Telangana won gold in the 52 kg category at the National Powerlifting Championship in Delhi. She lifted 100 kg in squat, 40 kg in bench press and 110 kg in deadlift for a combined 250 kg

Hyderabad: Surineni Vanisha Rao of Telangana clinched gold in the 52 kg weight category of the National Powerlifting Championship in Delhi.

Vanisha showed wonderful composure and strength in the squat, bench press and deadlift to win gold in all three events.

The Telangana lifter came up with efforts of 100 kg in squat, 40 kg in bench press and 110 kg in deadlift for a combined total of 250 kg.
