Hyderabad: Varun Motors on Wednesday announced the unveiling of the all new Celerio at its Begumpet showroom. The new car was launched in presence of Varun Motors executive director RC Raju and general manager G Neeraj and other staff members.
The new Celerio is powered by K10C DualJet 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine and comes with either 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. Maruti Suzuki claims that the new Celerio has the highest fuel efficiency figure of 26.68kpl in its class (VXi AMT variant). The ZXi and ZXi+ AMT deliver 26kpl, LXi gives 25.24kpl and the VXi, ZXi and ZXI+ MT give 24.97kpl.
The new car comes with a 7-inch touchscreen with Maruti’s SmartPlay studio system and is being offered in six colors – caffeine brown, speedy blue, arctic white, silky silver, glistening grey and solid fire red. The Celerio is being offered at a starting price of Rs 4,99,000 (ex-showroom Hyderabad) and the top-end is available for Rs 6,94,000 (ex-showroom Hyderabad).
