Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University holds ‘Deeksharambh’ for new students
Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University organised the Deeksharambh programme for newly admitted students on Tuesday. University officials familiarised students with academics, examinations, welfare initiatives and career opportunities, while urging them to develop skills, confidence, discipline and perseverance.

Hyderabad: Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University organised the ‘Deeksharambh’ programme for newly admitted students here on Tuesday. The programme familiarised students with the university’s academic environment, various courses, examination system, student welfare initiatives, skill development programmes, and career opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Surya Dhananjay advised the students to use their imagination, ideas, and creativity to build a bright future. She urged them not to limit themselves to merely earning degrees, but also to develop skills, technological knowledge, and self-confidence.
Prof Dhananjay encouraged them to move forward through continuous practice without being discouraged by failure and to make the most of the ever-growing flow of knowledge.
Registrar Prof G Mallesham urged students to acquire modern skills, fulfil their parents’ dreams, and turn failures into stepping stones towards success. He called upon the students to grow into future leaders and create history.
OSD and Director of Hostels G Vijaya Lakshmi advised students not to be disheartened by failures but to continue working towards their goals and make effective use of the friendly and supportive atmosphere available at the university.
Principal and IQAC Director Lokapavani emphasised the importance of discipline, perseverance, and punctuality, along with giving due importance to mental and physical well-being, in achieving academic progress.
