Vehicle falls into canal near Kondagattu, devotees injured
Several devotees were injured after a multi-purpose vehicle fell into a canal near Nachupalli in Kodimial mandal of Jagtial district. The accident reportedly occurred due to brake failure while the victims were travelling to Kondagattu temple.
Jagtial: Several devotees were injured after a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) fell into a canal near Nachupalli in Kodimial mandal of Jagtial district. The accident occurred due to suspected brake failure while the victims were travelling to Kondagattu temple.
Suresh, a resident of Dharmasagar mandal in Warangal district, along with his family members, was travelling to the Kondagattu temple after visiting the Vemulawada shrine. When the Toyota Qualis they were travelling in reached the spot, the driver lost control of the steering following the brake failure, after which the vehicle plunged into the canal and overturned.
About 14 persons were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the incident. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Jagtial, where they are undergoing treatment.
