Hyderabad: JBS Vidyadhar and his partner Ajit B Umrani made it to the summit clash in the 40 years men’s doubles category at the World Senior Badminton Championship in Huelva, Spain, on Friday.
The Vijayawada-based shuttler Vidyadhar and Ajit defeated another Indian pair of Abhinand K Shetty and Sunil Gladson Varadaraj 21-10, 21-14 in semifinals. They will take on the Denmark’s Tommy Sorensen and Jesper Thomsen in the final. The Danish pair downed India’s Samir Abbasi and Upendra Fadnis 21-7, 21-9 in the other semifinal.
